Album photos vs QC photos

Album photos usually present the item selected by an uploader. QC photos are presented as a later quality-check view of a particular item or order stage. Lighting, camera distance and compression can differ, so compare repeatable details rather than overall mood.

How to check that photos belong to the same item

  • Product code and variant agree.
  • Color blocking and material panels match.
  • Hardware, labels, seams or connectors appear in the expected place.
  • Measurements are plausible for the stated size.
  • The source or order reference points to the same item.

Category-specific details to compare

Footwear

Shape and sole

Toe, heel, side profile, outsole, insole length and size label.

Clothing

Cut and measurements

Chest, length, shoulder, seams, fabric and print placement.

Bags

Scale and construction

Dimensions, handles, closures, lining, corners and hardware.

Electronics

Model and contents

Identifier, connector, included parts, plugs and compatibility notes.

Sizing and measurement evidence

Prefer a measurement photo that shows where the tape begins and ends. Compare the item with a similar item you already own. A labeled size alone does not explain the underlying measurements, and a chart may use a different method.

Image quality and missing-angle limitations

Compression can hide texture; wide-angle lenses can distort shape; bright light can change color; and a missing back, base or interior view can conceal the feature you need. Record missing evidence rather than filling it with an assumption.

Why QC photos do not authenticate a product or seller

QC photos may help compare visible construction. They do not prove brand authenticity, photo ownership, seller identity, future fulfillment, stock, refund support or delivery. This guide cannot verify the order behind an image.

Checklist before approving any next step

  • The photo sets appear to show the same code and variant.
  • The important category details are visible.
  • Measurements use a readable method.
  • Missing angles are recorded.
  • The source and responsible third party are clear.
  • No image is being treated as proof of seller or transaction safety.
