Verify where the conversation starts

  1. Return to the album or external page where the contact was published.
  2. Compare the visible name, number and watermark across more than one relevant page.
  3. Open the chat without sending and confirm the destination shown by the app.
  4. Record the source URL and date beside the contact.
  5. Pause if the contact switches unexpectedly or cannot explain its connection to the item.

These steps improve continuity, but they do not verify the identity or reliability of the person behind the account.

Make the product unmistakable

Item: [neutral product type]

Page: [raw album or catalog URL]

Code: [exact code, including punctuation]

Variant: [color and requested size]

Reference image: [one relevant image only, if the channel permits]

Questions: 1. [first decision-changing question] 2. [second question] 3. [third question]

Do not send several unrelated screenshots and ask for a total. Separate products into separate blocks so each answer can be attached to the right record.

Ask for facts you can write into a row

Identity

Is this answer for the exact code, color and size in the linked page?

Measurements

What specific item measurement can be provided, using which method and unit?

Contents

What is included in the quoted amount, and which pictured accessories are excluded?

Source

Which raw product or marketplace page corresponds to this item?

Packed context

Is the weight item-only or packed, and on what date was it measured or estimated?

Policy owner

Which service controls payment, order status, shipping, returns and support?

Questions about quality, trust or “best” often produce opinions. Ask for an observable measurement, document, page or policy when that is what the decision needs.

Turn the conversation into a comparison record

Reply date and messaging channel

Contact source raw page where the account was published

Item identity code, variant and link confirmed in the reply

Quoted details amount, currency, contents and measurement method

Responsible party service controlling the next step

Still unknown unanswered, ambiguous or changed details

Decision keep, clarify, compare or stop

Treat a later answer as a new version

If a price, contact, source link, measurement or included item changes, keep both dates and write what changed. Do not silently replace the old value. Ask whether the new answer refers to the same code and variant, then decide whether the difference affects your shortlist.

Protect the conversation

  • Do not share account passwords, identity documents or unrelated order records.
  • Do not send payment merely because a messaging account appears on an album.
  • Check the actual payment, refund and delivery terms of the responsible service.
  • Do not interpret a chat-app handoff as proof that a message reached the intended person.
  • Stop when urgency, unexplained account switching or unsupported guarantees replace clear answers.
